A little girl who had been living in Guatemala two years ago who is the daughter of Raquel Par had been taken away just like that.
Par’s story is that while waiting for a bus, another woman waiting as well started talking about God. Par said she trusted her, but then the woman offered her a drink. Raquel accepted, and and they went to a nearby store to buy some soda. Afterwards, she started feeling dizzy.
She lost consciousness, but when she gained it back, at her dismay, her baby was gone.

Brian Transeau, a producer, DJ and composer known to electronic music fans as BT, wrote a tribute song for his 3-year-old daughter, Kaia, on his last album.

In Tokyo,Jan. 7 ,two U.S. Marine soldiers based in southern Japan’s Okinawa prefecture were arrested Monday by local police for assaulting a taxi driver early in the morning, Kyodo News reported. Corporal Joseph Riddle and another 19-year-old soldier refused to pay after riding a taxi in Okinawa city and assaulted the driver with a whiskey bottle, injuring the driver on the head and the shoulder, and ran away. Both were arrested by police at about one km from the spot, the report said.
Seventy-five percent of Japan-based U.S. army are located in Okinawa, where hosted a total of 37 U.S. army bases and facilities. Local residents were annoyed and sometimes enraged by crimes involving U.S. military personnel.

When Becky Marsella turned 40, she thought she would lose a little weight, exercise and get into shape. But what started as a simple diet soon became an obsession.
Marsella, a mother and wife from Florida, dropped to a perilous 58 pounds.
“I still visualize myself as I looked when I was 40 and not until I walk by a mirror and see my physical image do I realize how thin I am,” she said.
Marsella is one of an increasing number of women suffering from adult anorexia. In the past, women over 40 made up less than 5 percent of patients seeking treatment for anorexia. Now experts believe more than 10 percent of anorexics are over 40, as women deal with images of film and television actresses who remain rail thin as they age.
“Anyone over 35 or 45 has to look young, has to look slender, has to be beautiful, has to have a wonderful appearance,” said Dr. Susan Ice of the Renfrew Eating Disorders Clinic. “I think that’s the given within which these women are operating.”
More and more people are speaking out on adult anorexia. Most notably, Jane Fonda revealed she battled an eating disorder well into her 40s.
“My food addiction has represented a misguided search for perfection and nurture to fill the emptiness,” Fonda said in a recent autobiography.
Ice said there are certain triggers that occur later in life.
“Things like divorce, children leaving home, remarriage, career changes, aging parents, as well as physical changes that go on,” she said.
For Marsella, who had always been a healthy weight for her 5-foot-5-inch frame, turning 40 triggered her eating problem.
“I don’t think it was one specific thing,” Marsella said. “It was a combination of many things, the feeling of losing control in your life.”
The obsession almost took her daughter down with her.
Rachel Marsella decided to join her mother’s diet and exercise routine. She was 16 years old when she started going to the gym with her mother six to seven days a week, and the 5-foot-10-inch teenager dropped down to 100 pounds.

Children’s advocacy groups and law enforcement say a new candy made by Hershey’s, “Ice Breakers Pacs,” resembles illegal drugs and could be “extremely dangerous” for young people.South Sioux City (Neb.) Police Chief Scott Ford called the design for “Ice Breakers PACS” a “marketing blunder” that could have devastating repercussions and prove to be an “enormous waste of resources” for law enforcement responding to reports of drug use.
A spokesman for Hershey’s said the candy is designed to look like a breath mint and nothing else.
“Consumers love the product,” he said. “It’s unique and innovative.”

It’s every surgical patient’s worst nightmare. And it happened three times at Rhode Island Hospital.
According to Associated Press reports, the hospital was fined $50,000 and reprimanded by the state Department of Health on Monday after the third episode this year involving a doctor performing brain surgery on the wrong side of a patient’s head.

A 2-year old missing girl from 4 years back has been found inside her 19-year old mother’s basment, along with her step-father, and they have been arrested for child abuse and injuring a child. The two pictures down below is the girl, grace, form 2-years old and theothr from four years later.
